Shana Tova!
Andrew participated in his very first Tashlich ceremony this afternoon. Tashlikh (Hebrew: תשליך, meaning "casting off") is a Jewish practice performed on the afternoon of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. The previous year's sins are symbolically "cast off" by throwing pieces of bread into the water. We joined our local Temple at Ocean Beach and threw our sins into Long Island Sound. Andrew ate his sins, but they tasted really good. Happy New Year!
